I just love inventing new raw dishes.
I never got really, really into cooking for a number of reasons. I dislike heat, and a hot kitchen can be really miserable. Cooking potatoes, carrots & onions together was something I only started doing at the age of 18, and cooking brown rice, and honey-sweetened only muffins (which were also gluten free and entirely organic) were something I made occasionally too. But it wa sso much effort, and often I didn't feel very good after eating something I made, even if it tasted great and friends and family enjoyed it.
But on this raw diet, I don't have to handle hot pans, hot stoves, hot ovens or boiling and spitting oil. No more failed cakes that don't rise. No more muffins that don't come out right from batter that wasn't stirred well enough. No more feeling sick after I eat.
And, to top it all off, I'm left more full after meals than I ever have been before in my life.

I'm feel really inspired today and the past few days to learn to make new things and really embrace being 100% raw. It no longer feels like some huge difficult step. I'm really happy, and proud to present two new recipes as well as today's entry. Another recipe is likely to be posted later today, or tomorrow since I'm feeling motivated and have nuts soaking in the fridge. http://amplify.com/u/ak25
